Where you’ll be
Built in 2019, our Villa Santorini is nestled on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Southwest Florida—just minutes from the sparkling Gulf of Mexico. This beautiful vacation home is lovingly decorated in a European Mediterranean style and offers around 2,100 sq.ft. of living space with everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay in the Sunshine State: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a heated pool, a garage, air conditioning, cable TV, a washer and dryer, complimentary high-speed internet, a gas grill—and much more. The home sits on a spacious double lot right on a lake, surrounded by fascinating Florida flora and wildlife. Mornings are especially magical, when the sun rises across from the patio and nature comes to life—the perfect start to a new, wonderful day in Florida.
The Villa
At the heart of our villa is the spacious, central living area with an open, fully equipped kitchen and modern Samsung appliances—perfect if you enjoy cooking. In the bedrooms you’ll find king- and queen-size beds as well as plenty of pillows, blankets, and linens for maximum comfort. You’ll also have two fully equipped bathrooms—with bath and beach towels, a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, and either a bathtub or a shower.
As you step inside, you’re greeted by high ceilings, plenty of space, and natural light streaming through the large windows. To the left, a cozy seating area with a leather sofa set invites you to relax—complete with a 50" HDTV entertainment center for quiet evenings. The granite island kitchen offers plenty of space for prepping and enjoying meals. It is equipped with a five-burner ceramic cooktop, convection oven, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with a water and ice dispenser.

To the right, slightly set apart from the entryway and living area, is the open dining area, which comfortably seats 6 to 7 guests. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sunset. At the other end of the house, a cozy reading or breakfast nook
with two comfortable armchairs invites you to linger. Through the large corner panorama window, you’ll look out over the pool, the sun-soaked terrace, and the peaceful lake beyond.

Spacious Comfort – Inside and Out
In the left wing of the house, you’ll find the private master suite with a comfortable king-size bed and plenty of storage for clothing and personal items. The adjoining bathroom is filled with natural light and features two sinks, a toilet, and a large walk-in shower. In the right wing of the house is the guest area with two additional bedrooms and a bright bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. One guest room is furnished with a king-size bed, the other with a queen-size bed—both with plenty of storage. In one of the guest rooms, you’ll find an additional 42" TV; in the other, connection options are available. Streaming is available on all devices and throughout the house. For our littlest guests, we’re happy to provide a baby travel crib (Pack 'n Play) as well as a highchair upon request.
Outdoor Living at Its Best
You can access the outdoor area (patio) around the heated pool—protected by a cage from insects and strong sunlight—through large sliding doors from the living area, the master bedroom, or the guest bathroom. The covered terrace offers a dining and lounge set with seating for six, as well as comfortable sun loungers with cushions and a cozy seating area with a coffee table—perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thanks to the panoramic design of the white cage, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of the lake and garden—without distracting bars. The perfect place to unwind and let your soul breathe.
Extras for Your Stay
In the double garage, which is directly accessible from the house and offers ample space for a full-size car or SUV, you’ll find 3 bicycles available for guest use. You’ll also find beach gear such as folding chairs, umbrellas, tools for collecting shells and shark teeth, and toys for the little ones.
Villa Santorini is our dream come true—a heartfelt homage to our favorite island, Santorini, in the Greek Cyclades.

Amenities
Getting around
As is typical in the U.S., you’ll need a car, since public transportation is limited outside larger towns. Taxis are also relatively rare. However, Uber is a good alternative and works quite well in this area. The road network and infrastructure are excellent. Biking is quite popular, and many roads have dedicated bike lanes. Boats can be rented in many places. In Florida, a classic boat license is usually not required, but depending on the boat and year of birth, an approved boater safety certificate may be required.
Neighborhood
The upscale Rotonda West
is located about 96 mi south of Tampa
and 56 mi north of Fort Myers. The town’s layout is truly one of a kind worldwide: from the air, it looks like a giant wheel (the “Circle”) with spokes. Numerous canals, bridges, lakes, and waterways shape the scenery and create a true “Florida water lifestyle” feel in everyday life. With the Rotonda Golf & Country Club, there are five golf courses in the immediate area. At the center is the Rotonda Community Park and Preserve
with recreation areas and green space—truly the “heart” of the community. Our villa is located on the western edge of the Circle in the Rotonda Heights community, about 1.6 miles as the crow flies from the Gulf.

In no time, you’ll be in lively coastal towns with restaurants, shopping, and great places to explore. In nearby Englewood, the charming Dearborn Street invites you to stroll past boutiques, galleries, cafés, and live music. Port Charlotte
offers everything you need for everyday errands—and with Charlotte Sports Park, it’s also a real highlight for baseball fans. Punta Gorda
delights visitors with its beautiful waterfront: the Harborwalk runs right along the water and connects parks, viewpoints, and the marina around Fishermen's Village. For a special day trip, Boca Grande
is well worth a visit—known for its laid-back island vibe and the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse and Museum in Gasparilla Island State Park.

From many points along the coast and around Charlotte Harbor, you can head by boat—out through the passes and into the Gulf (including Boca Grande Pass)—to wonderful island destinations such as Cayo Costa, Don Pedro Island, or Useppa, with their beautiful sandy beaches. The two well-known islands of Captiva and Sanibel are also easy to reach—depending on the weather, by boat as well, or alternatively by car via Fort Myers.
