Rotonda West is located in southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 96 mi south of Tampa and 53 mi north of Fort Myers. Unique world-wide is the layout of the town center and the circular ring running around it (the Circle). Seen from the air, the place looks like a huge wheel with spokes.

The Villa Santorini is located on the western edge of the Circles in the quiet, affluent residential area of Rotonda Heights, with its low housing density and plenty of originality. In takes only a few minutes by car to reach the Gulf of Mexico and to get to the offshore, beautiful islands across the Intracoastal Waterway like Manasota Key. All kinds of water sports are possible, the long white sandy beaches are very clean and spacious. There are restaurants and bars, often with live music as well as all kinds of shopping facilities ranging from small gift shops to shopping malls and supermarkets like WalMart or Publix.

Neighboring towns are Englewood in the west and Port Charlotte in the east. On the US41 (Tamiami Trail) you can quickly reach the beautiful coastal town of Punta Gorda, which is also the seat of the administration of Charlotte County. From there you can take the boat via Charlotte Harbor to other islands in the Gulf such as Cayo Costa, Don Pedro Island, or Useppa with beautiful sandy beaches. The famous islands of Captiva and Sanibel are also easily accessible by boat or alternatively by car via Fort Myers.

You will definitely need a car as there is virtually no public transport. Taxis are rare, but the Uber service is an alternative that works quite well at times. The road network and infrastructure are very well developed, the traffic is moderate. Boats can be rented in many places. Cycling is becoming increasingly popular. Many roads have separate bike paths.
